One uncle told me he did better when he spoke slower, more rhythmically, and with more pauses. If you have had speech therapy, that is great. The Stuttering Foundation's book Self Therapy for the Stutterer is a good refresher course to work through on your own if you can't go back to a therapist who specializes in treating stuttering.

sounds like a wernicke's dysphasia. you can express yourself well but have problems interpreting?

scrap that. conduction dysphasia is more fitting. problems with the arcuate fasciculus which links wernicke's and broca's region.
