Speech Therapy After A Stroke
Jean Said:
Stoke symptoms in young adults? We Answered:
Don't feel stupid! You should take this seriously & be sure that your Dr. does too. You could be suffering from another stroke called a "mini stroke" that wasn't bad enough to send you to the ER, but is slowly affecting you now. You should always report new or worsening symptoms to your Dr. for the rest of your life. Your meds may need to be adjusted. Take this seriously until symptoms stabilize or stop.RN

my elderly father ,hes over 90,fell twice this past winter and hit his head?We Answered:
I understand that your Mom really misses your Father...-but with medical issues of her OWN to deal with- I agree with YOU that it should be up to you Dad's doctors to decide when it would be best for him to return home. See if you can "buy alittle time" with your Mother- by suggesting she wait & see how her knee surgery goes, before she thinks about bringing him home. She might just change her mind.Karen Said:
My grandfather has alzheimers, and he is so mean sometimes!!!?We Answered:

My father ( 50+) right half of the body got paralyzed after a accident in 1993.Is there any remedy ?We Answered:
Honestly speaking, this is a special case. The best doctorfor treatment will be Neurologist. As far as alternative
therapies, e.g. Baba Ram Dev, Yoga, accupuncture or accupressure, etc., it is not easy to show any proven results out of these alternative therapies especially bcz, this is a very special & delicate case. Even if it is an old case, one should still try as your dear father is still quite young bcz at 50+, people still have enough energy. In India, still rehablitation is not available with latest facilities. In such a special case, one has two options, firstly, to go overseas under guidance of a
highly experienced & wellknown neurologist, preferably
in combination with highly experienced and known orthpadic (bone doctor); secondly, local intensive rehablitation under close guidance of the two mentioned doctors, i.e. Neurologist & Orthopadic . In this case, rehabilitation combined with will power of your dear dad
are utmost important. May Almight God bestow upon your dear dad with early recovery with long & healthy life for ever & ever. Good Luck. Take care. Yong Kang.
