your uncle is affected by Aphasia, due to the clot in the brain.There are Speech & hearing colleges, where they give free speech therapy, to train students.
If you have any college in your area take him there.
If you want to do it on your own, start from teaching him separate sounds(letters), then go to words, then move to sentences.
But my advise is consult a speech therapist, inform him about your situation that you cannot afford. I am sure he will be ready to give you home programmes for you to follow. You can follow his/her instructions and consult him once in a month, to give him your feed back of improvement.
But you have to know it will take months to get back his speech along with the medical treatment.

Why are they doing speech therapy with children under the age of 1 in the first place?Most children that age don't need therapy. It should be the parent's responsibility to take the child to the therapy. If you were a preschool, it would be different. But you're a home daycare; you shouldn't have to do that.
