My Daughter is Deaf. She's 25 years. Suggest the best treatment for she becomes normal. Is't Stem Cell TherapyWe Answered:
Your daughter already seems normal as every one else. At 25, it is unrealistic to expect your child to develop normal speech patterns. The window for learning language peeks around 5 or younger. She should have been in speech therapy or something like that a long time ago. As far as hearing, she could get a cochlear implant but that wouldn't be very helpful now. It might improve her hearing, but as far as using it to improve her speech, even with classes and therapy now it would a very hard and long road and would probably yield very little success. Maybe you should be satisfied that your daughter is alive and happy. If she's not, she's old enough to do something about it on her own. Hope this helped, toodleloo!Mabel Said:
Help with family/school issues please? We Answered:
You are under a lot of stress, that makes stammering worse.I don't have a magic answer for you, I only wish I did. You are having a very hard time and it is not your fault. You can try making friends if you can, but sometimes that might not want to know you, because of what your Brother did. Sadly they are just trying to get back at him, by hurting you. That is not fair and it does not make sense, but sadly that seems to be what they are doing.
What I am going to say next might sound a bit harsh, but I hope it does not...
You are 13 years old, you are still a child and yet you have adult worries on your mind. This is understandable with the bad situation you are in, but I think for the sake of your own health, you have to be a little bit more selfish and look after yourself. The adults in your life are older than you and so are a little more prepared to look after things. It will not help them if you worry yourself until you end up sick as well.
You are clearly a very good person to be so worried about them. Actually I'm a bit worried you are actually depressed. Would it be possible for you to talk to a doctor? If not, is there someone else you feel you can trust, like a teacher, or a Grandparent?
You did really well talking on here, but please try not to take too many worries on your shoulders, you are too young still to have to deal with all these family problems as well as everything else.
Good luck with your education! You can always put up with the problems at school, you will be leaving them behind eventually anyway, the bigger problem is the worry of what is happening in your family. Just do what you can to help them, and then look after yourself!
Good luck, I've been through something similar.
