Truthfully you can't do very much with a bachelor's degree in speech pathology, so make sure you are willing to commit to a master's before you start.There is a general shortage of speech pathologists, so if you were to complete your degree there would be very little chance of you NOT getting a job immediately.

i live in northern ireland too and i'm applying for Speech therapy!well alot of places require that u do 3 Alevels and you sometimes need at least a science one. but geography, or psychology counts as a science in this case. but you must look into it at the university you want to go to.
there's one place in England that requires BBC
but all the rest are either BBB or higher to get in.
Jordanstown is BBB (but you must do a hpat test - which tests your natural intelligence.. and i did so badly! )
these were undergraduate courses and theres 18 in the UK
you might need work experience like with special needs or shadowing a speech therapist or working with stroke victims.
Postgrad is offered for those who have degrees, usually in english/linguistics or psychology.. but i hear it's meant to be more difficult to get in, and the places are minimum. and experience is essential. It's usually a 2 year course too.
