1) How is the spine/binding of the journal? This is the most important factor in determining its value.
2) How is the cover? I'm assuming as it's a journal it is a softcover -- are there any scuff marks or blemishes?
3) Are the pages yellowed, torn, or ripped?
4) Do you have any idea of the rarity of this journal?

Just FYI, it might be anywhere from 10 cents to hundreds of US dollars, depending on your answers. As it's a journal, though, I'm guessing it wouldn't reach into the thousands.
