Yeah, what the other two said. Drs really want to start chemo as soon as surgery site is healed. I had to wait right at a month because I got an infection in my incision. My docs were getting a little panicky, keeping me coming in to check the infection and how well it was healing.

Hi, not sure what is totally involved with a breast lift?? Do they put in implants? I had breast enhancement surgery about 5 years ago. I was a 34A. This was after I had my son, who is now 10. I now have a 11 month old baby and had no problems whatsoever breastfeeding her. (I breastfed both my kids). If you are getting implants, I don't think you will need to worry about sagging if you do it now, then have another baby later. Obviously only being a 34A, I never had sagging, lol, but I am now a 34C, and they are just as perky as before. So all in all, I would go ahead and do it. I was very concerned when I got it done, that I wouldn't be able to breastfeed, that was very important to me, but my Dr said I should be able to, and he was right.

Breast augmentation is serious surgery with many risks. If you stopped 2 months ago, you're body is still in the middle of the many adjustments associated with breastfeeding. My wife's breast shrank a whole cup size after breastfeeding and we have talked about the possibility of breast augmentation after we're completely done having children. But no doubt we/she would wait at least a year. I think it is way too soon for you and the fact the doctor is saying "should be alright" is not very reassuring.

Smoking puts you at increased risks for complications from anesthesia. You may also find after surgery that it is painful to smoke due to the incisions and not want to. Try to quit before you go into surgery if you can. I used to smoke, so I know it is hard to quit. There are a variety of new meds that can help you. Talk to your doctor. Good luck.

My mom had a breast reduction surgery 13 years after she had 3 kids and they grew back. Your boobs will for sure get bigger when you get pregnant and while you breast feed, but they could go back to normal or be left even smaller when you are done. I lost more than a cup size! :(

I had a breast reduction surgery 3 years ago and went from a 40G to a 36C. It's the best thing I've ever done for myself! The change in activity level and self confidence is amazing. I'm a totally different person.

Your insurance may pay for it if you're having back problems...I had BCBS and they did.

Most of the before and after pics you see are taken pretty soon after the surgery before the scars have healed all the way which can take a year or more. I have a tendency to scar easily but my breast scars now are barely noticable. Vitamin E rub will help only if you're very consistant in applying it over the course of several months or longer. (I never had the discipline to apply it every day)
