being an Indian i can assure you that you will be in safe hands in India. we adore and respect our guests.
also India is one of the best places for surgeries and all and has few of the leading professionals.
but i must warn you to be on guard as we really wouldn't like to see you in trouble. please wear clothes that meet the so called indian standards or are modest (preferably indian clothes if possible), immediately report any type of harassment to the police, don't get drunk or drugged if alone and please follow the guidelines given by your embassy.
