Although I agree that honesty is the way to go, you are not married and you have every right for your personal business to remain exactly that. He does not have to know *what* you had done, but he does need to know that you had *female work* done and that you can't have sex for 2-4 months to allow yourself to properly heal. He needs to be informed that you are not avoiding sex because of him or that you aren't putting him off for any old reason. (also so that he won't think you are cheating, you know how men are these days) If he pressures you to tell him what you had done, simply tell him that you are not comfortable revealing your personal and intimate female issues with him at this point in time. They are YOUR issues, not his. If he had some weird guy issue, do you think he would come out on the open and tell you?? Probably not.
