What do you find most controversial on Thailand's Cosmetic surgery? We Answered:
On the front page of today's Bangkok Post was a story about a woman who was suing a doctor whom she claims disfigured her from a cosmetic procedure he performed on her. The police are investigating whether he was responsible for hiring two gunmen who performed the ultimate "cosmetic surgery" on her as she was found gunned down in from of her house yesterday. The prime witness in the case was also found murdered six months ago. I think this case would qualify as somewhat controversial.http://www.bangkokpost.com/News/15Sep200…

My mother wants to have cosmetic surgery in Thailand... Safe?We Answered:
There are several international standard hospitals in Thailand - I would recommend one of these as any operation will carry a degree of risk especially if you were to have an operation in England. If she would prefer somewhere a lttle less frantic than Bangkok she could try the AEK Hospital in Udon Thani - I only know the dental clinic there as I was renting one of their apartments for a month for a holiday.I had some emergency dental work done ( on a Sunday ) I guess the high number of ladyboys in the country means the surgeons have plenty of experience !!Keith Said:

Has anyone had Cosmetic surgery in Malaysia or Thailand? We Answered:
I had surgery in Malaysia last year. I am delighted at the surgeon, hospital and all the treatment I received and the level of service from the company I chose to book through. I enquired through many company's on the internet before deciding. It was a very difficult decision so I know how you feel.Honestly, everything they said on their website they did and more. From touch down at the airport to when we left I can't say enough how fantastic everything was, the nursing care after I left hospital and the kindness and care was amazing!
If you are really serious about traveling for your surgery there isn't any other company or surgeon .... I promise..in fact I'm even going to tell me story soon to a local magazine. I really wish I could give you more info but yahoo doesn't seem to have that.....go look at website I put address below and just ask them , they are wonderful. Good luck, would love to know how it turns out for you.

I want to get my nose done. Has anyone ever had Cosmetic Surgery in Thailand? What surgeons are best?We Answered:
My wife had her eyes done at Yanhee hospital and they did a good job. One of her friends is planning on having the same surgery on my wife's next trip to Bangkok.Rhinoplasty, Rhinoplasty, Augmentation w/Nose implant $540
They didn't have a price for a reduction but similar to Bumrungrad
http://www.yanhee.net/eng/srv/srv_val_bt…
I have also had friends who have had liposuction and a vasectomy reversal at Bumrungrad and they were happy with the results.
There prices are reasonable and they have a highly trained staff. My only complaint about Bumrungrad is its too successful and the place is always packed but its the hospital I go to when I need a Doctor so I'm pretty familiar with them.
RHNO 1.1 - Rhinoplasty, Augmentation (excl. implant) - Day Surgery
(17,00 Baht or $503)
A reduction is about 102,000 Thai Baht* ($3000)

Legal age for cosmetic surgery in Thailand? We Answered:
The question is moot."A virulent, resistance-enhancing enzyme has been introducted to UK from Asia. The enzyme, NDM-1 [ New Delhi-Metallo-1], can move to many kinds of pathogenic bacteria, such as the ubiquitous e.coli, rendering them extensively resistant to antibiotics."

Has anyone been to Thailand to have cosmetic surgery? We Answered:
Go to Bangkok. As far as I've known, The Yanhee General International Hospital provides the best plastic surgery in South East Asia. Their skills are beyond descriptions. Upper & lower eyelid lift, breast enlargement, complete facelift, mid face and neck lift or sex change etc. I recommend this hospital. For a mid face and neck lift, the recovery is within 7 to 10 days, without tell-tale signs of a surgery done. The fee is afordable and includes hospital stay until removal of stitches, food and nursing care, own private ward with bilingual nurses and doctors taking care of you till discharged. You can even chose to still in a hotel after the third day and return on the 7th or the most 10th day for removal of stitches. However I recommend staying in the hospital for the extended nights because you will be taken good care day and night by doctors and nurses. Staying in the hotel without nursing care will cost more than the hospital. Please check them out on the internet.
