Why do people have this stereotype about asian eyes?We Answered:
That really does frustrate me a lot. I have big, round eyes and I hate it when people ask if I have some french or western genes in me. I'm 100% asian and I don't look anything but asian. However, people just love to categorize asians as people with small, slanted eyes. I think it has everything to do with the media. If you pay attention, you'd notice that most popular asian females in the American media have stereotypical asian features and what's more, these asian females are generally cast into stereotypical asian roles.Honestly, they are small-eyed asian people but there are also a fair share of big-eyed asian people as well. If a white person was born with hazel eyes instead of blue, then that is considered normal. However, if an asian person has big eyes or is chubby or tall, then that person is considered abnormal by the American version of "asian standards." The general society has yet to learn more about asian people and their culture.

Is fixing uneven eyelids with surgery looked down upon?We Answered:
no! as long as it boosts your confidence and you are doing it for your self confidence! but make sure this is something that truly bothers you before you do anything drastic. maybe consider learning makeup tricks to sisguise the problelm if thats possibele!Willie Said:
Double to single eyelid surgery... Is there such a thing? We Answered:
I'm really not sure about that, but if you want a more oriental look to your eyes, you could consider a temperal brow lift and/or a canthoplasty. All a single eyelid really is, is when there is too much skin on the upper eyelids, I don't think that is really that attractive. I'd be careful if I were you, you might regret it. HTH.Tamara Said:
