It's somewhere around where you're at right now, but it varies widely by person. One person may be able to shrink their ears back from a much larger size, while someone else may not be able to shrink back from a tiny size. Don't stretch any further if you know you'll want normal ears in the future.

However, if you really expect to want to reverse them, I don't think it's a good idea to continue to stretch. I've stretched my ears to 1 5/8 inches (41mm) and I'm over 30 in a successful career and I have no plans to reverse them. I would never have continued to stretch if I seriously considered reversing them in the future.
