That's unusual that a black eye would last that long. Before going as far as cosmetic surgery, I would suggest seeing a doctor to make sure that no damage was done to your eye or face. Has your eye always been somewhat saggy? My right eye has never been as wide or as perky as my left and recently when I saw a neurologist, they told me that it is a sign of a migraine condition (but that's only if you've had headaches for a while). Anyways, it's probably not serious, but like I said, see a regular doctor before seeing a plastic surgeon. Good Luck!

because you don't NEED it. that's what glasses and contacts are for, to correct your vision. there is no medical reason for it.

A lot of us get it just to look more beautiful(at least in our own estimation).

In our culture a "double lid" is considered more beautiful than a single lid(or monolid).

If you do some research, you'll find the majority of Asians who get the surgery aren't trying to look "white", in fact I've never known an Asian in real life or in the media who got the surgery to look white.

As for the eye sticker you are talking about, there are glues and tapes that also give you the second crease in your eyelid, but they do not give permanent results.
