Eyelid Surgery Before And After

Kristina Said:

Drooping eyelid after cataract surgery...

We Answered:

You should have another follow up scheduled, correct? I would give it a little more time and then consult the doctor about possible corrective surgery to "lift" the eyelid back into place.

Bryan Said:

recovery after lower eyelid surgery?

We Answered:

My mother had both eyes done (separate times). The first one did great. The other one has now drooped and she really should have it redone.

ONLY FOR THOSE WHO HAVE HAD: Asian Blepharoplasty / Double Eyelid Surgery Before...?

Cody Said:

Can you spot the different between the natural double eyelids far east asians and the plastic surgery ones?

We Answered:

I guess fake eyelids you can tell if they shut their eyes and there's a line for the crest.
Real ones don't leave a line mark that looks like a scar.
I'm Chinese and I have natural double eyelids so I know what's up when I see one. There's really no point getting double eyelids, however, a brow lift or whatever you call would make a much bigger difference. A lot of Japanese girls have double eyelids, i'm not sure if some are real though.

I would say that 50% East Asians have large eyes. Its really not that rare...its just that in America, you don't see many Asians.

Japanese magazines promote Eyelid surgery for girls, do most girls fall lfor this ?

We Answered:

I think that whole eyelid surgery is ridiculous. That's what make Japanese women so beautiful and they want to make themselves look like everyone else. It's really sad!!

Lydia Said:

How can i get rid of this lump on my eyelid without surgery?

We Answered:

If it is on the eyelash line, it is probably a stye, and antibiotic drops might work. If in is up on the lid itself, it is probably a chalazion, which will need to be excised. And I hate to tell you, but it hurts like a s.o.b. when they give you the shot to numb the lid.

Dwayne Said:

Eyelid surgery next week !!!?

We Answered:

Yikes! You're having surgery and you're looking for answers here?

Haven't you discussed this with the surgeon?

Of course it's done under anesthesia and yes it's probably going to be uncomfortable after, but you will be given medication to ease any pain.

Discuss It!
