If you're doubting taking hormones, then consider stopping them and consult whomever prescribed them to you about your feelings. It's this oh so very common moment in transition where a counselor who is trans savvy can help you establish what is right for you.

I'm a transman, but I also know I'm a wholly androgynous creature when it boils right down to it. But I do know I'm an androgynous MAN, and that is why my transition is necessary to me. There is no one way to be anything, the twisting your presentation is rather common for anyone going through a change. It's puberty all over again man, regardless of your actual age your hormones are going to bounce you about like a teenager.

I'm pretty sure too that those of us transguys who don't identify as straight also have a tricky time figuring out how we fit our sexuality into our changing world.

I really don't like the idea that there's a "standard" set of male genitalia you have to have or your not a "successful" male, FTMs genitalia look as male or more than a lot of intersex men even with just like a metoidoplasty or whatever

Of course, I realize you ideally don't want intersex genitals, you want an 8 inch dick, I thought phalloplasties had come along far enough to give that, they were just expensive, risky, and surgically intense

You sound sorta like me in some aspects. I'm a tranny boy, an I also don't like things like body hair, an I think I only wan to take testosterone for a couple years so I'm masculine, but more fem gay boy, than butch man. And I don't want bottom surgery because I don't think the technology is good enough, though if I could trade in what I got for a wee wee, I'd do it in two seconds. You are defiantly transgender. I wouldn't worry too much about labeling yourself, but continue to just do what is you, and what comes comfortable to you and natural, there aren't any rules when it comes to being yourself.
