Is Plastic Surgery
Lynn Said:
Is there a type of plastic surgery to get rid of stretch marks? We Answered:
Did you try Bio-Oil or Mederma? Those work pretty good. Theres not any surgery that I know of but getting laser treatments on your skin will help them fade. But stretch marks do fade to basically nothing with time.Clarence Said:
How is it any different from plastic surgery? We Answered:
Really good question. Surprisingly the definition of plastic surgery is vague enough that you can categorize ortho treatment in it but it again deals with surgery. (Plastic surgery is a medical specialty concerned with the correction or restoration of form and function.)Orthodontics is dentofacial orthopedics and has both surgical and non surgical aspects. There is craniofacial surgery which falls in the plastic surgery realm and non surgical dentofacial orthopedics which is orthodontic surgery. So when you get down to the basics, its not a part of plastic surgery. Guess you can't call your friend a hypocrite.
