Laser Skin Surgery
Lori Said:
is laser skin surgery the same?We Answered:
Most laser methods fall under cosmetic surgery. There are so many variables and degrees with the use of lasers, it all depends on what you want to accomplish. What exact are you having done? Is it facial skin resurfacing for pigmentation or skin tightening? As far as your doctor goes, it does not seem that he was able or willing to give you the answers you need. I would definitely go for a second opinion from another doctor in your area. You need to feel totally confident and informed before you make a decision to have anything done. There are plenty of doctors who are very willing to inform you of your procedure and answer your questions. There is also a tremendous amount of information on the internet.
Hope this helps.

Has anyone had Fraxel laser surgery for skin discoloration and was it affective? We Answered:
A few months ago, I too was considering Fraxel laser for melasma (dark, hiper-pigmentation spots on the face that sun accelerates) on my face. I did a lot of research on it and in the process learned about Obagi NuDerm. It's a skincare system that lightens sun spots within a matter of months. I have been using it for 2 1/2 months and all of the melasma is gone from my face-ALL of it. It costs about $500 and will last about 4-5 months. A lot cheaper than Fraxel and from what I'm hearing and reading, more effective than Fraxel. I would highly recomend you look into Obagi first.Miguel Said:
Does the insurance cover any types of laser surgery(skin)? We Answered:
Did you try Palmers Coco Butter used at every thought. Noxzema triple clean lather cleaner(tube);it helped removed the dark spots from my friend's chest.Olive E oil (bottle)it is a purple pill pod with olive e oil inside daily rub on affected areas.....All mentioned items depending on where you live should cost no more than $10........Blend the scar instead of surgery or if you are a tattoo person(hope not)design it....I know someone with a surgery scar from wrist to elbow shaped like a centerpede; legs and all. He plans on adding color to the scar with tattooing....As For Your Question I think insurance companies cover all or most major surgeries your's sound minor...Blessings...Blessings YahooAlfred Said:
Does laser skin surgery on beard and neck really work for transvestites? We Answered:
I am a transsexual woman, not a transvestite. Lazer does work to remove hair. It will not remove light colored hair however. (blond, gray)Glen Said:

Side effects of Skin laser surgery? We Answered:
PLEASE. Don't do this. My uncle did this, and he got a diesease. He didn't die. But he was at risk of it. There is make up out there that you can use instead. Looking good isn't worth your health. Please think about it.Vincent Said:
If newly pregnant is it safe to get laser surgery on skin and breast augmentation or other breast procedures? We Answered:
Uh...don't do that. When you do these things to your body, you're putting your body at risks and doing unnatural things to it.
Think about the baby, not yourself.
