Leg Surgery Game

Peggy Said:

Should i get surgery or not on my fractured leg?

We Answered:

I have a horrid elbow injury, and initially they wanted to pin it in place so i could never bend my elbow again, totally unacceptable of course because i enjoy kickboxing and climbing. my injury was so severe i had to have several operations to try to put the elbow back together as much as possible and i am always in a lot of pain.
However last year, one of my children went next door to retrieve a ball from the neighbors garden and was savagely attacked by a dog, If i had not gone through the ordeal of the operations to make my arm the best it could be, i would not have been able to climb the tall fence so quickly and i certainly would not have had the ability to rip open the dogs mouth to release my child's leg.

I guess what i am saying is that in your life there is bound to be many reasons to push your body even beyond that a healthy body can do, just think what you may fail to achieve in the future if you couldn't run there in time.

get the op, and don't regret it or fear it for a second!

Tony Said:

I tore my acl & mcl do i have any options besides surgery?

We Answered:

Your ligaments will not heal in the correct place on their own. If it was a partial tear, then the ligament is still attached to the bone and can heal in place over time. But since you tore two of your ligaments, surgery is the only option if you want to fix it. You will be in crutches for a while and you won't be playing football for quite some time, but it's best to take care of the problem now because if you wait, you won't have stability in your knee, you'll have trouble walking, and you for sure won't be playing football with two torn ligaments. I understand you may be a little scared about potentially getting ligaments from a dead body, but this will help you. You may also talk to a therapist about this if it is bothering you. Hope the best for you

what is a leg halo from surgery?

We Answered:

Before you go for the surgery make sure to ask all this to your surgeon.

There is nothing wrong about any of your Q? As long as they are the things that may bother you. Again it will be one on one, if you can ask this on iternet when billion of people can see these Qs? then you should be able to get correct answers from your Dr. Based on those, you may want to even cancel postpone the surgery.

It is a kind of support they can show you some pictures of the device. It does limits certain movements but not all. It may not be used or use all the time!

We Answered:

either ask your doctor
(who will probably say no)

If it hurts, stop.
Otherwise, have a blast.
