First, I would try to see if Linux can see it;

It is an ISO file and needs to be burned to CD as one.
then boot off CD and see if you see your external drive.
If you do..copy all to your ard drive.
It's a long shot but worth a try.
If no good..
consider contacting a professional data recovery service such as CBL, DriveSavers, ESS, Kroll Ontrack and so forth.
It can be pretty expensive though.

The local anesthetic will wear off in 4-12 hours depending on what was used. If it is still numb after then, it is possible that the nerve in your lower jaw that supplies the lower teeth and lower lip on one side was injured. If that is the case the feeling will most often return although it sometimes can take several months as healing of nerve tissue is a slow process. Any questions, I would check back with your dentist.
