Like you, my body's just not the same after having my son, and I'd love to do something like the mommy makeover. However, not only do I not have the money for anything like that, but I also am sure that I want more kids.

Hi there,

I actually joined Yahoo answers looking for mommy makeover answers.
I had mine done in thailand 4 weeks ago, the tummy tuck and lipo was fine, more painful than I was expecting, but the results are looking good.
The breasts were awful, and the surgeon redid them April 14th, and on the 15th I was back in Australia.

What I didn't know then that I know now, is if you get work done overseas or even far away, nobody will touch it in your own town.
This left me with no aftercare as doctors, private hospitals and surgeons would not even see me.
I have finally found a sweet surgeon who has taken pity on me and is helping with my infected stitches.

Cheaper is great but there's another price you pay. The mommy makeover is such a massive shock to your body, that's why they don't do a lot of it in major western worlds.

Do make sure you have help around the clock for the first 10-14 days.
The more you do the longer the wounds take to heal and the worse your scar will be.
My partner has been home for 4 weeks looking after me and i'm only now driving.
Also, keep in mind you wont be able to pick up toddlers for a good month. It is hard being a mum and not being able to move as we're used to doing everything.
If you do want to go elsewhere for a cheaper price please find someone to help you with post op care before you go.

Well Im A guy But Had Some plastic surgery done on my stomach because of a profound Burn back in 1995 Its not wise to do more than one at a time and i recomend mt sinai Hospital in new york city they are great and most health insurences pay for plastic surgery

I think Brazil is a good place to get affordable plastic surgery and alot, if not all, of the doctors there speak English.

I've never had any thing like this, but, "my most favorite niece", who has been rather large her whole life, had the "band type sugery", and tummy tuck after wards, with breast adjustments!
And it was/is a total success for her! Her wonderful-beautiful personality still shine thru, and she's the same person "inside", but now she is "just really HOT"! She loves her new look, and her husband is also pleased!
She did this "of her own thoughts", for her self, and NO one else!
I'm pleased to see her"happy" about her appearance, and she's still a shining star inside!

For best results, should be in normal weight range. For 5'4'', about 116 to 140 pounds [ 20 to 24 BMI ].Better healing, less wound infections.
