I believe that some do have computerized imaging available for a gander beforehand. I'm thinking that an ear, nose and throat dr (ent) would be able to do rhino and perhaps have more education on the anatomy and such. Please make sure that the surgeon is board-certified in plastic surgery: http://www.plasticsurgery.org and can ask for 'before and after' photos of previous patients as well as references. If a person is having trouble breathing in any way due to a deviated septum, he or she may be able to get the rhino paid for by health insurance (though must check with plan).

Many posted on the blogs (not mine of course ;) ) are fake. I would hope these posted at surgeon's websites are real, but have seen some that look "shopped." The bottom line is that it varies.

The traits you pass on to your children are based on your DNA. When you get plastic surgery you are not changing your DNA, so really your traits before and after your surgery don't change.Trait is a term in the field of genetics that refers a specific allele that causes a specific property. Rather you "mask" them. Your children will receive your traits, they would just not be "masked". But if you intended the mean trait as in physical appearance, then the answer to your question would be that they would receive your traits from before your surgery. I see nothing wrong with plastic surgery and am not trying to insult you when I use the term mask.

Definitely before the surgery. Now her lips are too big and she looks older. I liked the way she looked before she did not need any surgery.
