i think they can change certain features like the shape of your jaw, nose, eyebrows. they can alter many facial shapes but not make it look like you have become like a different person.

There are a few faces that do emotions that look a bit different than normal.
For example, Compassion’s Countenance has a few different looks. Its "F2" and its "F5" are different. However, every face has a different way of doing the same expression. It just depends on the eye size / positioning, lip size, etc.
If by "special emotions" you mean like, the sparkly eyes and the kissing face (and so on), then those are emotions you must buy in the Cash Shop for 1k NX.

This is a mixed issue with me. My mother told me that God made everyone the way they were supposed to be made, and that you don't mess with that. Even so, I'm self-conscious and think about getting plastic surgery often. I guess it's just up to the individual and what she feels is best for her.
