There are lasers that can make them less noticable. There are lasers that remove brown color, ones to remove red color...and there are things that help promote collagen growth and plump up that area.

A board certified dermatologist who has lasers is the place to go. You usually need several treatments with a laser. I got my entire face, neck, and ears done with a brown laser last month just once and it was $650!!!! So I don't know what you mean by a "small spot."

The cost will depend upon where you live.

My sister had the laser treatment done. She paid close to $1000 total for like 8 treatments. It did NOT make her skin tighter, nor did it completely rid her skin of the stretch marks. It just made them fade faster and turn silver quicker.
She actually thinks the laser may have done more harm than good and wonders if they would have disappeared better on their own.

But I have been told by a few different women that Mederma is awesome on stretch marks. They are never going to completely disappear, it's just a matter or getting them to fade as much as possible. And at around $40 for a tube of the ointment I think it's a better bet to at least TRY first versus spending $400 per laser treatment that may not even work.
