Well, I think all over the world it is becoming more and more common. I live in England and it is really getting common here too. It's not considered as something just for celebrities anymore. In Lebanon, nearly all of the singers get surgeries…like Nancy, Haifa, Elissa and so on. This, in turn, influences young girls and women who watch the pop videos at home. They then feel a lot of pressure to look as good as the stars. I don't think plastic surgery is a bad thing but it can get out of hand. For example, people end up getting things done that they didn't need! Look at Nawal Zolghbi…she didn't need surgery and was more natural before. But then again, some people look better afterwards. I had a surgery once …everyone was telling me 'OMG you don't need it!! You are so pretty how you are!'. I was even offerred modelling jobs before my surgery but I just wanted a smaller and cuter nose. Now that I've done it, I can honestly say..it was the best thing I ever did. Now I feel much better. I was lucky that I chose a great surgeon and he did a wonderful job. Now everyone compliments how, even though my nose was ok before, now I look even better. I did lack a bit of confidence from it before but now I am sooo confident and happy. But for me that's it…I don't want to end up doing anything else…now I'm 100% happy. My opinion might be different to yours but we are all different aren't we?

any good plastic surgeon has to put their patient through a psychological screening and with that long list of surgeries i dont think you would pass. no one is that ugly and there are things about yourself that could be making someone attracted to you and u wouldnt even know it. i would suggest that you get yourself into councilling because ur problem is your self esteem not the way you look.

if you want to be thinner-a healthier diet and exercise
if you want bigger boobs-try a water bra or chicken fillet inserts (latex not chickens lol)
if you want to be taller wear high heels or platforms
you can get hair extensions without surgery
fuller lips- try gloss or lip plumper lipsticks

every surgery and toxin you put into your body from things like collogen or botox etc has high risks- you could have complications from anaethesia, have face paralysis permanently making you look retarded, you could die(even simple procedures like lipo and tummy tucks) you could be permanently scarred from bad staples/sutures (which can never be fixed) or you could end up looking like that cat woman jocelyn wildenstein.
your body is with you for life so think long and hard before you consider any kind of alterations.
also the price tag of these surgeries combined is well over $50,000 american.

my idea is No , it's a global boom ,we lost our good sense of individual beauty , now every one wants to look like [ or wish his girl-friend to look like ] few girls that we consider beauty goddesses .
