NHS Surgeons are pretty useless.
Private Healthcare is the way to go, especially if you're young - because in the future if (Hopefully nothing bad will happen to you) something does happen you'll be able to have top class healthcare rather than relying on the NHS Waiting LIst which is just ridiculous.

For your nose, they will probably try Laser Removal. It's likely there will be scarring but you can reduce that with Scar Serum (Palmers) and also, it will probably be less to you than it is now.

Also, private plastic surgeons are more concerned with cosmetics, because they're being paid more for it.

So you can have cosmetic issues sorted in ways unavailible to those on the NHS.
