Because his death reminded people who he was, people that had once forgotten about him as they got older and had families and many of which who didnt have as much time to listen to music. Now people are viewing him as a victim of society, because thats exactly what he was and its a clearer picture now for people, as they retrace the steps that led to him being ridiculed. People are re-reading the witness statements of the boy who accused him, going over things again, because now they care, and the truth is coming into picture for them.

There was a man who was recently named an official Saint, Father Damian. He went to an island where everybody was lepers, diseased and contagious. They were put on that island to die so other people coudnt catch the disease. He went there, knowing he would also be banished from society for it.
This is just reflective of how our society is, and how we treat people throughout history that are different. Jesus is one example I can think of.
Now Im not religious at all, but I do know that we should have learned our lessons the first couple times around, but yet we still allow the media to crucify people and believe everything the angry mob tells us about those people. He's in the guinness book of world records for donating to more charities than any other celebrity, of all time. If you go to youtube and type in "michael jackson visits childrens hospital", you'll find plenty of videos of hospitals where he visited every single room to meet with sick kids. He didnt make shallow songs, he made music that actually changed people for the positive.
Society misinterpreted his kindness towards children as a sick thing, when there was only 2 kids out of thousands who said bad things about him and tons who defended him. I mean when you have that much success, the vultures and snakes will come out in full force. So for only 2 to accuse him is odd, it should have been more than that with his fame. He was innocent, and a type of innocence the world could not understand. He really was Peter Pan.
So he practically was a Saint as far as Im concerned. Even Saints were human and had flaws. I bet they thought that Father Damian was psycho.

No, well in my opinion not at all. A cat's a cat and this one seems like she means a lot to you. Besides your father gave you that cat the way it looks now and if you change that, would it still remind you of him? I think that is a health risk for the cat and also if it was me I would be a little nervous. I myself have two cats, both boys and I love them greatly and wouldn't change a thing. Operations for animals are very expensive and if you love her then you shouldn't want to change her appearance. It should be up to you and not be decided upon what your boyfriend/brother-in-law says.
