You wont have to have the nuckle replaced, if they do sugery they will go in there and clean up the joint, there may be dead or old tissue they have to get rid of. If it was worse and your fingers where not able to move then they may do a reconstructive sugery. But what they will do with you will most likley be minor. In fact, they may be physical theripy rehabilitation instead or surgery.
