I have long toes! And everybody notices them - sometimes it's good and sometimes it's bad but i'm happy with them! I'd never have surgery to shorten them it sounds very very painful!

It might take anywhere from 2 to 6 months, but you will more than likely have some lingering pain for up to a year. Healing from a foot surgery is a pain in the but since your feet bare all of your body's weight while you are walking.

If it didn't hurt, you should have just left it. Beside a longer 2nd toe can look more elegant compared to the short stubby sausage 2nd toes that you are probably going to end up with.

I never knew there was such thing as one!

But that is kind of...stupid.

You should be proud of your toes!

The only reason why you should plastic surgey is if you NEED to.

But for some people, it's a life changing experience.

In my personal opinion, I would never go get plastic surgey.

I am happy for who I am. Sometimes people who get plastic surgery do it just to feel better about themselves.

As long as its a good reason. Then do it.

The whole toe shortening thing is awkward though.
